Rain Games titles get updated and get a news sidebar.

We are thrilled to announce the first ever simultaneous update all our games on Steam! We are rolling out a brand-new sidebar feature in Teslagrad, Teslagrad 2, World to the West, Mesmer, and Girl Genius: Adventures in Castle Heterodyne to provide players with a way to stay informed about our releases, and other major announcements from the company, such as when we are at different conventions and how to meet us there. We are also rolling out a number of updates, patches and such for our games, more on that at the end of this acticle.

A Unified Experience Across All Rain Games Titles

The new sidebar will allow players to explore our latest news, game updates, and community links directly from the main menu of each game. Whether you want to stay up to date with the latest patches, join our community discussions on Discord, or check out our other titles, everything is now just one click away.

Why the Sidebar?

With the new sidebar, staying informed about Rain’s Games gets much easier. Getting the latest updates, exploring our titles, and engaging with the community—all can be done from within your favorite games.

The sidebar will be a tiny, direct portal to:

• Game releases
• Community engagement – Links to our social media etc.
• Other news – We will be posting here every time we’ve made something newsworthy, or when we plan to visit conventions.

When is the Update Available?

The sidebar update is being rolled out to all supported platforms across our titles starting already in February. If you already own any of our games, simply update to the latest version to access the new feature.

All titles have been updated

Through the years we have kept busy, working on new projects, following each completed one. We have made important bug fixes following our releases, and also made quality-of-life changes to them whenever we could.
But what we haven’t really been able to do, is to make updates to many of the games simultaneously. A of the hassle necessary to make updates has been automated to make this happen. And hopefully, they will now be more frequent.
