Hi folks,
One of the criticisms of the Steam verison of the game was that the map only showed a close up of the user's position with no way to scroll around.
Has this been tweaked for the Wii U version in any way? Does it show more of an area and is it scrollable?
What other tweaks have been made for the wii u version?
Thanks,
Pinky.

We have zoomed the map out slightly, and given it a simple zoom-in toggle mode. Only minor tweaks have been made to the map, but it feels better. It does help that it is shown on the controller and you can watch what room you are in change as you move.
The best tweak for the wiiu version in general has to be the off-tv play mode, the game looks absolutely gorgeous on the controller. We have also made minor visual tweaks here and there, as well as fixing any small bugs we came across. I believe one or two of the bosses have been made slightly more fair, as the wiiu gamepad is expensive and we do not want people to break it in frustration.

Downloaded this game from the Nintendo eShop. It looks great and I have been playing a lot. I have to admit that I sometimes consult walkthroughs when I play games. If I didn't I would throw the Wii U in front of an oncoming truck when I get really frustrated. I understand that Teslagrad is fairly new, but the walkthrough I found seems to be translated (from Norwegian, I assume) by an online translation program and is harder to figure out than the game itself. Are there any others out there?

It's spoilers for sure, but I guess it's what you're asking for?

Thank you. I won't use it often, but sometimes I have to cheat or just give up on the game.

Got a message in my speedrun video about one guy having the 100% on WiiU, and he was not sure why his savegame had scrolls again, I figured out what was he talking about after some messages:
Dunno if you made more modifications to the game itself, but I supose is the same as PC+WiiU features right?

It should be the same.
After a 100% completion, there will be a 'shadow' of all the cards in the gallery, and the cards will be back in the levels.

I'm trying to negotiate the force fields in the tower. What is the logic, if any, of the lifting fields and the charge hood? If the boy leaves the blue lifting field for just a second, then returns to it, why does he fall down? The field should catch him again pretty quickly, but it doesn't.
Also, sometimes the boy falls way down the tower to lower levels, even with his hood glowing blue and while he is in the lifting field. Nothing I can do will give him lift except to find a place to stop and then jump into the field again.
This is turning into the hardest puzzle in the game, just because I can't predict what will happen even when I press the same buttons.

The field in the tower shaft gives a weak lift, just enough to lift the boy and give a small acceleration upwards.
That means, in the short term, you will have the speed you entered the field with.
In the long term, you will be picking up speed upwards.
To beat the race at the top of the tower, you need to jump to start with good speed, and you can only make minor mistakes.
Leaving the field during the run most often looses you too much speed to make it, unless you can land and jump again shortly.
An optimal run leaves you with something like 8-10 seconds at the top, before the scroll reaches you.

Thanks for answering. I'm not sure I've even reached the race you're talking about, I don't know what you mean by the scroll reaching me. I'm just trying to get past the electric barriers. The highest I can get is the rest stop above the first group of them, I die quickly when I go any higher.

Hello guys. I'm really looking forward to the retail release of the game. I was wondering if you had any numbers on how many units will be produced for Europe and the UK PAL version specifically?

That is a question best asked of Soedesco; our partner who does the retail.
They are usually quite responsive on Twitter, though they might not have the numbers for you.
The Physical European version is already out. It is round and about in a lot of stores, but you can pick up a copy on Amazon if you cannot find it elsewhere.

Hello. Thank you, I will contact them.
The physical version has not yet been released in the UK. It was due to be released this Friday but I have just received an e-mail today saying that it has been delayed.
According to Amazon.co.uk it is still due for release on Friday but perhaps they have not received the information yet: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Soedesco-SOE0000...B00OZAR14Y

Hi!
Does this help?
Also... after this fight, you're supposed to be left on the bottom of the shaft.
If you weren't (for any reason), at least now you know.

Thanks, got some help from twitter and figured it out that way, already beat the final boss too... i guess i was so used to have the ray gun be associated only to the puzzles, thats why i hadn't tried it.
